My Approach

A comprehensive, structured framework for resolving complex chronic illness — built around identifying and addressing every major root driver, in the right order.

THE CORE PRINCIPLE

The Reason You're Still Stuck

Most people with chronic fatigue and complex illness aren’t stuck because they haven’t tried hard enough. They’re stuck because one or more root drivers were missed — and progress stalls when even one key domain is left unaddressed.

In my clinical experience, virtually every person I work with is carrying a combination of what I call The Big 6 — six core biological domains that consistently drive chronic illness in modern people: Sleep-Disordered Breathing, Mold & Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals, Chemicals, Infections, and Stress & Trauma.

Most practitioners specialise in one or two of these areas and miss the rest. My approach is built around the opposite principle: all six are assessed and addressed in every case — every time. This produces a broader, more thorough treatment that turns over every stone — so nothing important gets missed and no major driver is left to quietly undermine progress.

In my experience, people who work through all six domains consistently see meaningful improvement. Not because it is a miracle framework — but because most chronic symptoms have the same drivers, and addressing them systematically gives the body what it has been missing.

"The body heals when nothing important is being missed."

What Most Approaches Get Wrong:

Treating one or two domains — missing the rest
Addressing root causes before foundations are stable
Waiting for lab tests before taking action
Chasing symptoms instead of identifying what drives them

The Big 6 Approach:

All six domains assessed and addressed in every case
Foundations stabilised before deeper interventions
Clinical reasoning over excessive testing
Root causes identified and treated in the right order

A STRUCTURED PATH FORWARD

A Step by Step Process

Recovery requires correct sequencing. Most people try to remove root causes before the body is ready. This is the structured order I use to systematically address all six domains

Step 1: Find Root Causes

We start with a thorough symptom and history review to uncover your Big 6 pattern — clarifying what’s driving your symptoms and what to prioritize before taking action.

Step 2: Stabilize the Foundations

We strengthen the basics first — nutrition, minerals, key deficiencies, and adrenal/stress support — so the body has the capacity to handle detox and deeper root-cause work safely, without crashing.

Step 3: Prepare Detox Pathways

We support liver, bile flow, and lymph/drainage so the body is ready to detox — and can eliminate toxins and inflammatory load safely.

Step 4: Remove Root Causes

We address mold, infections, toxic burden, heavy metals, and other drivers in the right sequence — based on your unique pattern across the Big 6.

ON TESTING

Strategic, Not Excessive Testing

One of the biggest problems in functional health is over-reliance on laboratory testing. Many practitioners run panel after panel — generating data without meaningfully changing what they do.

In my experience, the vast majority of a clinical picture can be established through detailed symptom history and clinical reasoning alone. Because The Big 6 consistently appear in people with chronic illness, we can act on known patterns rather than waiting for every marker to be confirmed — saving time, money, and momentum.

The underlying principle is simple: if you assume all six domains are relevant and address them systematically, the body gets what it needs to recover. Symptoms resolve not because we found the perfect test result — but because we stopped leaving drivers unaddressed.

h

Testing is valuable — but only when it genuinely changes what we do next.

I prioritise testing in two specific areas where clinical assessment alone is insufficient:

Sleep-Disordered Breathing Evaluation

Objective sleep data, airway assessment, and sleep recordings are essential to properly evaluate this domain and determine the right intervention.

Environmental Mold Assessment

Mold exposure is frequently hidden with no visible signs. An environmental assessment is the only reliable way to confirm or rule out ongoing exposure.

Additional testing is included when clinically indicated — but always driven by whether the result would meaningfully change the direction of care.
